這架包機是由 #駐秘魯代表處 Taiwan en Peru 接洽航空公司及當地旅行社規劃，並協調秘魯相關單位及與其他國家使領館合作，取得秘魯政府的核准執行，自庫斯科市(Cusco)接載38名 #台灣 乘客，中停秘魯首都利馬(Lima)接載其他17名台灣旅客後，再飛往美國邁阿密。值得一提的是，包機同時搭載 #日本🇯🇵 #新加坡🇸🇬 #美國🇺🇸 等同樣滯留秘魯的84名他國旅客，全班機旅客總共計139人。

55 Taiwanese people, in addition to 84 Japanese🇯🇵, Singaporean🇸🇬, US🇺🇸, and other nationals, who were stranded in #Peru due to the #WuhanCoronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown have already departed the country on a charter flight arranged in a cooperative effort by our representative office there, LATAM Airlines, a local travel agency and local government and diplomatic staff. They arrived in Miami on the morning of March 29 (Taipei time).
All air and sea passenger routes had been halted in the country and traffic controls are also in place in urban areas. 38 Taiwanese passengers flew from #Cusco to #Lima, where 17 more Taiwanese passengers embarked, before the flight, carrying 139 passengers in total, headed to Miami in the #US. After two charter flights, 22 Taiwanese tourists still remain in Peru. Our representative office is in contact with them and is providing them assistance as required.
Hiroyasu Izumi, the chief representative of the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association's Taipei office, expressed his thanks for Taiwan's friendly cooperation in facilitating the departure of the Japanese nationals on the flight. Singapore’s foreign minister, Vivian Balakrishnan, also thanked Taiwan, stating: "We deeply appreciate the assistance of our Taiwanese friends who welcomed our Singaporeans on board their craft." ❤️
